Abstract Guidelines Abstract selection is based on the quality, content, and presentation of the research. Abstracts should be no more than 2,000 characters. The following formats are required for abstract submission: TITLE: Use a concise title that summarizes the content of the abstract. AUTHORS: Author(s) names. Include the name, degree, institution, city, state, and country of all authors and author groups AFFILIATIONS: Each author should list the name of his or her institution, city, state, and country. Grant acknowledgments should not appear in abstracts, but should be included in the disclosures. ABSTRACT TEXT: Describe the relevance of the research using background, methods, results, and conclusions. Submitters/authors are responsible for the accuracy of the abstract text. Approval from all co-authors is required before placing their names on the abstract. Include a concise statement of the research under investigation. Describe the objectives and results of the research. Include specific conclusions. Describe experimental methods briefly. Include specific findings and data. Provide disclosures. If the abstract is accepted for presentation, then you must list financial interests/relationships or “nothing to disclose” at the top of your poster presentation. CONTACT INFORMATION: provide all pertinent contact information to ensure that correspondence is received promptly and accurately. Supervisor Contact Information is also required. NO CHANGES/MODIFICATIONS, including author and affiliation changes, are allowed after the abstract submission deadline of August 15.
